Lynsey Addario

Wow, what a fierce lady. She stands strong in the face of fear. Even with being kidnaped twice she still strong doing what she loves. Even reading her book you can see her growth as a person. From heart breaks to photos. She was very descriptive describing images and her experiences.

EHRC

This is a meeting held in your residence hall and it's free for anyone to attend. In these meetings, people present ideas about changes or additions that will help East halls become more like what they want it to be. Also, they plan applications for staff members and students. They have committees like a blood drive, sustainability, and a birthday community. There are many other committees that are a specific to East Halls.

Collegian visit

Sam Ruland from the daily collegian stopped by our class today to give a presentation and it was very informative about their task, who runs the group, and what they're all about. She was most excited about the direction the collegian was going with everything switching to online reporting. With the collegian app, people can receive brief push notifications and breaking news.

The Collegian is a really open and diverse service ready to jump in and try anything new. From podcast to comic strips.  to get in contact with Sam her email is, samruland7@gmail.com
